This is because it raises questions about what happened, what were the body sensations just experienced were all about and if and when another will strike!
It is commonly considered by those in the medical field, that anxiety is the result of a chemical imbalance. Being a long time sufferer or general anxiety and no stranger to panic attacks myself, I personally can't see how this could be. How is it that I can be an on stage entertainer, and have no problems with public speaking (which is the number one fear amongst the general population, even out ranking death), but I can get scared of stupid little things like being too far away from home? Is this because my brain chemicals are imbalanced? I feel it's more to do with the BEHAVIORAL situation I find myself in. So what are these internal events that cause anxiety levels to sometimes spiral out of control? When I look back at 4 major occasions in my life when I hit breaking point, they all had one thing in common. I was EXHAUSTED! I now know I have to get good, regular sleep. I have also cut back on my work so I'm not working ridiculous long hours and also have a more balanced life these days. But how do you prevent mental and emotional exhaustion? You can't just stop life throwing all sorts of problems your way. The way to do it is this. I have found CBT (Cognitive Based Therapy) really helped me in the beginning to change my faulty thinking habits. Present may also be trembling, and chills.
Along with the above or separately, there can be the feeling of being detached from reality. It's commonly called a Panic attack or Anxiety attack. Essentially, these are periods of extreme panic or fear that doesn't last too long although it may seem like an eternity.
They tend to last anywhere from a few minutes upwards to half an hour - although the latter amount of time is somewhat rare. The symptoms alone can be horrifying and there can be multiple things going on at once.
One particular sign is chest pain. It can be so intense, it might be thought of as a heart attack. This can lead to Hyperventilation out of pure fright (although sometimes separate). A new fear that pops up is the fear of having another panic attack - the worries about who might be present, or if it occurs in public.
These Symptoms of Anxiety Disorder, particularly for Panic Attacks are a dreadful experience to have and go through.
Freeing Your Child From AnxietyAnxiety disorders are one of the primary mental health problems affecting children today. Your child might be in the category of generalized anxiety disorder
Freeing your children from generalized anxiety disorder would consist of teaching your children to use positive talk instead of negative; this is called, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). (I would not recommend)
Other type of child Anxiety disorders Panic disorder Your children unexpectedly panics, or have and anxiety attack for no reason at all.
Post-traumatic Stress DisorderThe extent of the refusal interferes with school and making friends. If your child stand motionless, chew or twirl their hair or hide in a corner to avoid talking are all symptoms of Selective mutism.
Specific phobias Children will avoid situation they fear or go through extreme anxiety. This lead to crying, tantrum, clinging, headaches or even stomach aches. I have found the way to free my child from anxiety and I am pretty sure it will work for you as well. Why pay for costly therapy, why subject your child to the side effects of medication.
